Designed to address the shortcomings of these advanced alternators, the Buck-Boost DC-DC converter delivers a preset charging voltage to your additional battery. This is crucial, particularly in scenarios where intelligent alternators might generate higher or lower voltages that aren't suitable for efficient charging.
A built-in system detects the "engine running" status, ensuring your vehicle's starter battery isn't deeply discharged. Alternatively, the converter can be activated via a programmable input, such as D+, CANbus, or (+)15 connection, offering adaptability to various vehicle setups.
Easily programmable using a straightforward PC application (requires a USB type A to USB type B connector cable), this converter accommodates 12V, 24V, and 12/24V systems. It intelligently regulates output and input currents based on maximum charging current settings, maximum input current settings, and operational temperature thresholds.
