- Measure the awning size from the center of the right arm to the center of the left arm.
- Avoid relying on old fabric or roller tube measurements.
- The finished fabric size will be approximately 10 inches (25.4 cm) shorter than the stated length. For instance, for a 15ft awning size, the finished fabric size should be 14ft 2 inches.

- Due to economical folding for transport, every awning replacement fabric is folded and boxed.
- Unfold the vinyl carefully during unpacking to prevent minor paint peel-off along folding lines. This occurrence is normal and does not affect the fabric's quality.
