Driving Modes The iThrottle Contoller features 8 throttle base maps specially tuned to provide the perfect throttle response for virtually any situation, application, or terrain, whether it be at the lights, up the side of a mountain, off the beaten track, down at the boat ramp or anywhere else you might benefit from a softer or more aggressive throttle response.

Boost Mode brings a huge boost to all throttle positions, giving more throttle across the rev range, focusing on maximising low-to-mid throttle inputs.

Eco mode dulls the throttle response across the map, reducing the instantaneous addition of fuel, meaning only light throttle inputs will result in lower engine demand, meaning less fuel will be used in normal driving circumstances. Full throttle will still elicit maximum performance, so thoughtful overtaking is not compromised.

Winch Mode is used when inside or outside the vehicle and operated via the iThrottle dedicated App, when a higher RPM is needed whilst winching to take the load off the battery and alternator. The user can select a higher RPM level for increasing or decreasing the RPM level whilst winching.

Crawl mode makes rock hopping a lot easier, by minimising throttle opening, accidentally mashing the throttle will no longer result in unwanted wheel spin or digging a rut requiring full recovery.

Intelligent mode is an adaptive program that tailors throttle enhancements to your particular throttle style, gradually fine tuning to get the best of fine pedal corrections and confident overtaking maneuver’s. Simply put, the more you train it, the better it gets.

Towing mode retains normal functionality for low throttle for keeping up with normal traffic, but gives a bigger boost at higher throttle position, making overtaking or compensating for steeper hills easier to contend with.

Sand & Mud Mode offers an advanced throttle response mapping designed to upgrade your vehicles performance when encountering offroad sand & mud conditions.

Off Mode returns your vehicles throttle parameters to its stock settings.

Lock Mode is used to disarm any throttle function for anti-theft purposes and is fully automatic meaning no buttons to press or pin codes to remember.

Sensitivity presets
Overall throttle sensitivity can be adjusted with the ‘AT’ Automatic Transmission or ‘MT’ Manual Transmission mode. Instead of overwhelming the end user with endless sensitivity toggles, the iThrottle unit does away with a difficult to interpret range and allows for two settings well suited to automatic or manual transmission equipped vehicles, letting you focus on the which driving mode suits the present conditions.

Anti-theft mode
As throttle inputs are now purely electronic, it is a simple matter to disable the throttle outright, meaning that even if basic security protocols are defeated and a car can be hotwired, or even just with stolen keys, the throttle controller can be used to disable the pedal completely.
