The Exotronic In-line Solar Fuse Connector combines a standard Ø 4 mm solar connector with a built-in fuse, providing essential overcurrent protection for individual panel strings or parallel connections. This design helps prevent damage to solar panels and wiring in the event of a fault, reducing the risk of fire and equipment failure. With a rated current of 20A, it is suited to a wide range of photovoltaic installations, from small caravan solar systems to larger off-grid arrays.

Built to perform in demanding environments, this connector features an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating when mated, ensuring reliable operation even in heavy rain or dusty outback settings. The PC/PPO insulation material is UV-resistant and carries a UL94-V0 flame class rating, adding an extra layer of safety. A wide operating temperature range of –40°C to +90°C (with an upper limit of +105°C) means it can handle extreme heat and cold without compromising performance.
