Explore Planet Earth is the first to market with this unique system in offering two separate 120W Solar Blanket Kits, each with the necessary items required to connect the two kits together, effectively doubling the wattage output to 240W.
Firstly, the ‘complete’ Portable Solar Blanket Kit with Controller (Model No. SP551A - sold separately) that has everything included to charge your 12V DC system and secondly, a separate ‘expansion’ add-on 120W PORTABLE SOLAR BLANKET EXPANSION KIT (Model No. SP551B) that includes only the necessary items for connection to the ‘complete’ Portable Solar Blanket Kit with Controller (Model NO. SP551A) allowing for the expansion.
The Explore Planet Earth 120W Portable Solar Blanket Kit is a high performance, ultra-compact solution for solar charging most common chemistry types of 12V DC batteries, including Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFeP04). It is one of the easiest and fastest ways to keep your battery charged up at your campsite. It folds out in seconds and takes less than a minute to hook up to the 120W Portable Solar Blanket Kit with Contoller thanks to the quick connect, Anderson type plugs!
The monocrystalline solar cells ensure the highest efficiency possible! This lightweight and compact blanket will produce up to 6.6A in optimal conditions.
