Essential Caravan Table Legs and Parts for Stability
Sturdy table legs allow for practical use, whether you're enjoying meals with family and friends or utilising the table space for various activities. Buying high-quality parts to accompany the legs ensures your caravan's interior remains safe and space-efficient.
Types of Caravan Table Legs and Compatible Parts
The type of caravan table legs you need depends on your caravan table setup. At Award RV, we have three main styles, including:
Standard Table Leg—these offer a reliable, sturdy base with either a plate top or iron split top and adjustable heights, enabling you to manually adjust the table height to suit you.
Telescopic Table Legs—these allow you to adjust the height of your tabletop up or down using a foot pump. They provide a solid table base adjustable to the height you need. Our Black Nuova Mapa Telescopic & Adjustable Table Leg is crafted from galvanised steel and features a turntable and sliding tabletop mechanism on a telescopic base which raises and lowers when you press on a foot pump.
Bent Table Legs—Bent table legs, such as the Breha Wineglass Table Leg, are bent to the side to give you more versatility regarding the positioning. These are typically removable and able to be rotated to give you more versatility. There is also a swinging leg version available.
We also stock an array of compatible caravan table parts for caravan table legs.
How to Maintain and Replace Caravan Table Legs and Parts
Over time, dust, dirt, and salt can accumulate in the crevices and joints of the table legs. This accumulation makes them difficult to manoeuvre when you need to rearrange your setup, and may lead to rust over the long run. To help prevent these issues, make it a habit to wipe the legs with a damp cloth, ensuring you clean out debris or buildup. You may also want to use an old soft toothbrush to reach into small crevices.
It's also good to inspect the table legs' stability to ensure they provide a solid foundation for the tabletop. A stable setup is vital when you place items on the table, such as food or drinks, preventing accidents and spills. If you notice the legs seem wobbly or unstable, this could indicate that components need to be tightened or replaced to restore the table's functionality and safety.
By maintaining and checking your caravan table legs regularly, you can ensure a dependable and hassle-free experience during your outdoor adventures.
